ProStart® Curriculum and how to use it
The ProStart Curriculum was designed to be exceptionally flexible to help educators implement it effectively. Here’s a quick overview of the curriculum and materials educators need.
ProStart at a glance
ProStart can be implemented within any scheduling constraints.
This flexible program includes lab activities and chapters that can be divided up to work in 45-minute class periods or in a block schedule.
ProStart can be implemented in any classroom setting.
There are no equipment requirements, and activities can be conducted in a family and consumer sciences kitchen or an industrial
kitchen.
ProStart is a complete program, with resources for students and educators.
These resources include everything from textbooks and videos for students, to lesson plans and assessments for educators. There are also national and local competitions for ProStart students.
